El IC697CGR772 es una CPU Hot Standby de doble bus de la familia de controladores lógicos programables (PLC) serie 90-70 de GE Fanuc. Es una CPU de alto rendimiento que proporciona redundancia y capacidad de intercambio en caliente para aplicaciones críticas. La CPU cuenta con dos buses independientes, cada uno con su propio procesador y memoria. Esto permite que la CPU continúe funcionando incluso si falla uno de los buses. La CPU también admite el intercambio en caliente de módulos de E/S, lo que significa que los módulos se pueden reemplazar sin apagar el sistema. Esto puede ahorrar tiempo y mejorar el tiempo de actividad del sistema.
