Basis Terminal 1701/05 adalah platform pemasangan untuk FieldMonitor*  sistem untuk aplikasi di mana transduser dipasang di area yang tidak berbahaya,  Divisi 2, atau area Zona 2, atau di mana penghalang keselamatan eksternal digunakan. Ini  basis terminal menyediakan hal-hal berikut:  

• 1 slot untuk catu daya  
• 4 slot untuk monitor getaran saluran ganda  
• 4 slot untuk modul Proximitor* internal atau modul I/O transduser  
• 1 slot untuk modul Proximitor internal atau modul I/O transduser untuk sebuah  Input Keyphasor* (input tunggal ke saluran A). Basis terminal terpisah adalah  diperlukan untuk setiap kecepatan rotasi poros karena setiap basis terminal dapat  mengakomodasi hanya satu transduser Keyphasor.  
• 1 slot untuk Modul Antarmuka Manajemen FieldMonitor 1701/22  
• Terminasi I/O untuk hingga 9 transduser yang terhubung secara eksternal  
• Koneksi Flexbus untuk koneksi fisik dari basis terminal ke  produk lain Allen-Bradley® 1794 Flex™ I/O atau adaptor jaringan  
• Konektor sinyal dinamis terbuffer individu untuk semua saluran (termasuk  Transduser Keyphasor  
• Port sinyal dinamis yang terbuffer untuk koneksi kabel multi-saluran
