Monitor 3500/65 menyediakan 16 saluran pemantauan suhu dan menerima input suhu dari detektor suhu resistansi (RTD) dan termokopel ujung terisolasi (TC). Monitor ini mengolah input tersebut dan membandingkannya dengan titik pengaturan alarm yang dapat diprogram oleh pengguna.

Monitor diprogram menggunakan 3500 Rack Configuration Software. Anda dapat mengonfigurasi 16-Channel Temperature Monitor untuk menerima termokopel ujung terisolasi, RTD 3-kawat, RTD 4-kawat, atau kombinasi input TC dan RTD. 

Dalam konfigurasi Triple Modular Redundant (TMR), Anda harus memasang pemantau suhu dalam kelompok 3 pemantau yang berdekatan. Dalam konfigurasi ini, pemantau menggunakan 2 jenis pemungutan suara untuk memastikan operasi yang akurat dan untuk menghindari kegagalan titik tunggal.
