Il Triconex 3607E è un modulo di uscita digitale a 16 punti che fornisce uscite ridondanti e otticamente isolate per applicazioni di controllo critiche. Ha una tensione di ingresso nominale di 24 VDC e una tensione di uscita di 24 VDC con un massimo di 2A per punto. Il 3607E è progettato per l'uso in ambienti industriali difficili e ha un ampio intervallo di temperatura operativa da -40 a 75 gradi Celsius. È anche certificato FM e ATEX per l'uso in luoghi pericolosi.

Il 3607E utilizza un design a tripla modularità ridondante (TMR) per raggiungere un'alta affidabilità. Ciascuno dei tre canali è monitorato e votato in modo indipendente, e l'uscita viene affermata solo se tutti e tre i canali concordano. Questo garantisce che l'uscita sia sempre valida, anche se uno dei canali fallisce.
