Il Bently Nevada 330780-90-00 è una sonda di prossimità senza contatto utilizzata per misurare le vibrazioni delle macchine rotanti. Utilizza un campo magnetico per rilevare la presenza di un oggetto metallico target attaccato all'albero rotante. Man mano che l'albero ruota, l'oggetto target passa attraverso il campo magnetico della sonda, causando una variazione nel campo. La sonda converte questa variazione in un segnale elettrico che viene inviato a un monitor per visualizzare il livello di vibrazione della macchina.
