La famiglia di trasduttori di velocità Seismoprobe è un design a due fili che utilizza la tecnologia a bobina mobile. Fornisce un'uscita di tensione direttamente proporzionale alla velocità di vibrazione del trasduttore.
I trasduttori a bobina mobile sono meno sensibili all'impatto o all'eccitazione impulsiva rispetto ai trasduttori di velocità a stato solido, che sono intrinsecamente accelerometri con elettronica di integrazione incorporata.
