Barošanas avota modulis 89NG08 ir atbildīgs par barošanas sprieguma uzraudzību, sprieguma ierobežošanu, ķēdes veidošanu un strāvas sadali. Selektīvai skapja pieslēgšanai un atvienošanai tiek nodrošināti 2 lieljaudas m.c.b.s. Kā aizsargierīces tās pilda tikai rezerves funkciju un var selektīvi reaģēt uz ārējiem korpusa drošinātājiem. 

Barošanas modulis ir sagatavots maksimāli vienam plus trim 24 V/5 V 89NG03 barošanas moduļiem. Apakšstatnis “G” ir pievienots 89NG03 barošanas avota modulim — centrālajam 5 V barojumam. Apakšstatīvu “K” pēc tam var aprīkot ar papildu barošanas moduli. Apakšstatni G var atkārtoti pievienot decentralizētai 2 x 24 V līdzstrāvas padevei. Lieki 24 V līdzstrāvas barošanas avoti tiek turēti atsevišķi un netraucē līdz katram atsevišķam elektroniskajam modulim un līdz pat 89NG03 barošanas avota moduļa drošinātājam.
