Kit peningkatan C200 ke C300 telah direka untuk membolehkan peningkatan perkakasan yang mudah tanpa memerlukan ruang tambahan. Chassis pengawal C200 boleh digantikan dengan pengawal C300 yang redundant yang telah diubah suai untuk muat dalam ruang satu chassis C200/C200E. Grafik tetap sama. Setiap pengawal C200/C200E boleh dipindahkan secara individu, membolehkan sistem ditukar secara beransur-ansur kepada C300. Dengan menaik taraf kepada C300, penyelesaian ini boleh mengekalkan modul IO dan pendawaian lapangan, mengekalkan grafik tanpa diubah, membenarkan strategi kawalan dipindahkan dengan sedikit atau tiada perubahan, dan membolehkan sistem ditukar secara beransur-ansur kepada C300. Rangkaian penyeliaan mesti dinaik taraf kepada Ethernet Tahan Ralat. Prosedur peningkatan boleh dijalankan semasa sistem tetap dalam talian.
