The Allen-Bradley 1794-IRT8 Flex I/O Combination Module is an eight-channel analog input module that supports both RTD and thermocouple sensors. It has a nominal input range of -40…100 mV dc for thermocouples and 0…325 mV for RTDs, and a resolution of 14 bits.
The 1794-IRT8 module is designed for use in a variety of industrial automation applications, including process control, machine automation, and building automation. It is a versatile module that can be used to measure a wide range of temperature values, from cryogenic temperatures to very high temperatures.
The 1794-IRT8 module is easy to install and configure. It plugs into a terminal base and is connected to the FLEX I/O backplane. The module is configured using RSLogix 5000 software.
