The Emerson EPRO MMS6220 tackles eccentricity in rotating shafts, a condition where the center of rotation isn't perfectly aligned. It excels in monitoring turbines, compressors, and fans. The MMS6220 works with eddy current sensors (sold separately) to measure relative shaft vibration on two channels. It analyzes these signals to detect eccentricity and its severity. It boasts features like peak-to-peak and minimum/maximum value processing for detailed analysis. The MMS6220 connects to laptops for configuration and data visualization through an RS232 port. It also features an RS485 port for integration with analysis systems or host computers, allowing for comprehensive monitoring and protection of critical machinery.
