The EPRO PR6426/00 32mm Eddy Current Sensor is a sensor used to measure the thickness and conductivity of metals without touching them. It uses eddy currents, which are electrical currents induced in a conductor by a changing magnetic field. The sensor generates a magnetic field and measures the eddy currents generated in the target metal. The properties of the eddy currents are related to the thickness and conductivity of the metal.
