It is designed as a com-plete integrated control, protection, and moni-toring system for generator and mechanical drive applications of gas and steam turbines. It is also an ideal platform for integrating all power island and balance-of-plant controls. Hardware
and software are designed with close coordina-tion between GE’s turbine design engineering and controls engineering to insure that your con-trol system provides the optimum turbine per-formance and you receive a true “system” solu-tion. With Mark VI, you receive the benefits of GE’s unmatched experience with an advanced turbine control platform.

The GE IS220PVIBH1A, a PVIB Vibration Monitor Pack, acts as a bridge within GE's Mark VIe turbine control system. It connects vibration sensors to the system via two Ethernet networks, enabling real-time data flow. This pack boasts thirteen channels compatible with various sensors like accelerometers, proximity probes, and seismic sensors. By collecting vibration data, the IS220PVIBH1A allows the Mark VIe system to continuously monitor turbine health and identify potential issues early. This proactive approach helps prevent costly equipment failures and ensures smooth turbine operation.
