Product Description

The Triconex 3623 is a 16-point digital input module that provides redundant, isolated inputs for critical control applications. It has a nominal input voltage of 24 VDC and an output voltage of 24 VDC at 2A max per point. The 3623 is designed for use in harsh industrial environments and has a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees Celsius. It is also FM and ATEX certified for use in hazardous locations.

The 3623 uses a triple modular redundancy (TMR) design to achieve high reliability. Each of the three channels is independently monitored and voted upon, and the output is only asserted if all three channels agree. This ensures that the output is always valid, even if one of the channels fails.
