REU610 je členom rodiny produktov Relion® od ABB a súčasťou jej produktového radu 610. Séria obsahuje ochranné relé na ochranu podávača, ochranu motora a všeobecný dohľad nad napätím systému. Zásuvná konštrukcia uľahčuje uvedenie rozvádzača do prevádzky a umožňuje rýchle a bezpečné vkladanie a vyberanie zásuvných jednotiek.

REU610 je určený pre prepäťovú a podpäťovú ochranu prípojníc distribučnej rozvodne, prepäťovú ochranu napájača a výkonového transformátora, podpäťovú ochranu motora a ochranu a dohľad nad kondenzátormi. V izolovaných neutrálnych energetických systémoch sa používa aj na nediskriminačnú zemnú ochranu založenú na meraní zvyškového napätia. REU610 sa používa na inicializáciu automatického prepínania prípojníc rozvodne a na odpojenie malých výkonových blokov od verejnej siete, tj ostrovovanie.
