Der Bently Nevada 330180-91-05 ist ein berührungsloser Näherungssensor zur Messung der Vibration rotierender Maschinen. Es verwendet ein Magnetfeld, um das Vorhandensein eines metallischen Zielobjekts zu erkennen, das an der rotierenden Welle befestigt ist. Wenn sich die Welle dreht, durchquert das Zielobjekt das Magnetfeld der Sonde und führt zu einer Feldänderung. Die Sonde wandelt diese Änderung in ein elektrisches Signal um, das an einen Monitor gesendet wird, der den Vibrationsgrad der Maschine anzeigt.
