Le module FDSI (Field Device System Integrator) FBM232 fournit une interface Ethernet unique entre les dispositifs d'E/S de terrain à port unique et le système EcoStruxure™ Foxboro™ DCS.
Le FBM232 se connecte à un seul réseau Ethernet cuivre 10 Mbps ou 100 Mbps pour communiquer avec les appareils. Le FBM232 est connecté à des commutateurs ou hubs Ethernet afin de communiquer avec un périphérique externe ou jusqu'à 64 périphériques externes.
