Hydran M2 to kompaktowe, montowane na stałe urządzenie do monitorowania transformatora on-line, które ostrzega personel o rozwijających się warunkach awaryjnych. W sposób ciągły monitoruje złożoną wartość różnych gazów wadliwych (w ppm) lub wartość samego wodoru (w zależności od zakupionego czujnika). Dodatkowo śledzi wilgotność oleju (odczyt w %RH i ppm).

Po dodaniu dodatkowych czujników Hydran M2 może również obliczać modele matematyczne transformatora w oparciu o standardy IEEE® i IEC®, aby dostarczyć dalszych informacji na temat wydajności transformatora.
