Product Description

The CI871A is an AC 800Mcommunication interface that connects to the PROFINETIO devices through Ethernet. The TP867 Baseplate has two RJ45 Ethernet connectors, but onlythe CH1 connector that supports 100Mbps is used for PROFINETIO connection. The Ethernet cable must be connected to the PROFINETIO network through an Ethernet switch.

The CI871 expansion unit contains the CEX-Bus logic, a communication unit, and a DC/DC converter that supplies the required voltage from+24 V supplythrough the CEX-Bus.

The CI871A modulewill only work with System800xA 6.0.3.3, 6.1.1 and subsequentversions
