RED615 ist ein phasengetrenntes, zweiadriges Leitungsdifferentialschutz- und Steuerrelais zum Schutz, zur Steuerung, Messung und Überwachung von Freileitungs- und Kabelzuleitungen in Versorgungs- und Industriestromverteilungsnetzen, einschließlich radialer, schleifenförmiger und vermaschter Verteilungsnetze, mit oder ohne dezentrale Erzeugung. RED615 ist auch ideal für Leitungsdifferentialanwendungen mit einem In-Zonen-Transformator. RED615-Relais kommunizieren zwischen Umspannwerken entweder über eine Glasfaserverbindung oder eine galvanische Pilotdrahtverbindung.
